Hello Everyone,
This is my first message on this Forum. I installed Linux on my computer yesterday and I'm pretty newbie. Very happy to see a Forum like this. I already love Linux and Ubuntu.
Ok, I am trying to have Evolution and Pidgin starting when my Ubuntu is starting.
I know the path: System > Preferences > Start-up Applications
But right after, I can't get to find the programs on my drive. I have no clue where to find them. Also, in the "Name" label, what am I supposed to write ?
Thanks for your help,
I appreciate it.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

In the command field simply type: pidgin. (the Name is not important)

The executables are usually located under /bin /sbin /usr/bin and /usr/sbin folders.
