Anybody know of a pager applet or application which has screenshot
thumbnails of all desktop in it's window to click on (for switching
desktop)? I remember having seen somthing like this but cant find
it anymore..

I can't understand the bolded bit. All desktop in it's window? What window?

Also, all pagers allow you to switch desktops (though the correct term is workspaces), regardless of whether they thumbnail the desktop background, active windows or whatever else you may be referring to.

For thumbnails of the desktop and/or active windows, the only application I can think of that might have something like that is Enlightenment.

I meant the window in which the pager application sits in case it is a
separate application. (ie not docked into a panel).

Yes, what i'm looking for is a pager that
shows previews of the *workspaces* that the user can switch to.
So basically just a screenshot in thumbnail size of each workspace,
instead of just a rectcangle with icons, like the pager applet of kde.

Well I have a faint recolection of something like that, when I gave Enlightenment a spin a year or two back but I'm otherwise drawing a blank.
