View Full Version : [SOLVED] Uninstall Mint. Keep Ubuntu. 2 HDrives

September 20th, 2009, 06:41 PM
I don't think this particular problem has been addressed.
I have 2 hard drives.
One has Ubuntu (installed first).
The other drive has Mint (installed later).
The grub shows Mint first, Ubuntu as the fourth option to boot.
I have it set to automatically load Ubuntu.
I think the grub is on the Mint drive.
I want to uninstall Mint and explore another (second) OS (keeping Ubuntu always).
How can I safely uninstall Mint and keep the grub showing (just) the Ubuntu boot options?

Thank you for your assistance.

I found out I can just install over Mint. I did it with Kubuntu, and again installing a new Ubuntu over Kubuntu. No problem.
