Hi there,

I'm pretty new to Ubuntu, more or less just installed it (9.04) , and connected my Sagem fast 800E3 Modem using the stuff posted here:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=422683&highlight=Sagem+fast+800&page=4

This works, but there is a problem. My connection is not always stable (this is a problem that doesn't have to do with Ubuntu), and if I lose the connection for a moment, I haven't yet figured out how I make Ubuntu finding the modem again without shutting down and restarting (which of course I don't like too much).
Windows automatically knows when the connection is back, and under the Slackware Linux used before with the old eagle-usb Linux driver I had to type something like
stopadsl
startadsl
to make it work again. But what can I do under Ubuntu?
