Hi,

I'm using Live Mesh to backup and sync my Vista and XP computers and need to use this (or similar service) on my Ubuntu computers as well.

There's no official linux client for Live Mesh and I can't install the Windows client (downloaded with User Agent Switcher in FF) with Wine.

If anyone knows of an unofficial client or a way to sucessfully install the Windows client please share.

Or is there a similar (free) service that can backup and sync XP, Vista and Ubuntu?

Was thinking:

I have an old Win2K cd somewhere. Would it be possible to install Win2K in a virtual machine, install Live Mesh and then use the virtual machine to sync my folders?

My experience with virtual machines is very limited. I'd use Virtualbox but if there's a better alternative for this purpose please let me know...

:)
