Hi everyone,

I wonder if there's anything like a public CVS server that I can use for me and my friend to synchronize our projects. I don't have a dedicated server for this and I wonder if there's a public one available since this is a personal project. We want to be able to commit and checkout source. Is there such a thing? if not, is there any alternative?

Thanks in advance for your help.

i dont know if this is what your looking for but sourceforge.net might be worth checking out. and of course if you use bazaar control you can use launchpad.net. for git github.com is free for <1gb i believe, theres bound to be a few more free project hosters to suit your needs

In addition to the ones mentioned above, Google Code (http://code.google.com/hosting/) uses Subversion, and is free for Open Source projects.
