Yeah!
I can't wait for it to come out! It would be even cooler if RPG Maker was ported! Anyway, have any more ideas:popcorn:?

I hope so very much. But YoYo Games never said they'd port to linux, and we all know Wikipedia isn't the most reliable thing.

Yes, sorry, I meant that they never said it'd be anytime soon.

That wouldn't be very hard to photoshop in.
My personal opinion is that if you want to create games, learn to program;)

GML is a programming language, albeit a limited one.

Ew, Game Maker.

I'll wait for Construct 2, which is essentially Klik & Play done right :P

I would like that, I've used Game Maker in the past, so I already know how it work to some extent. Gave up on it after I started using Linux though.

Spelunky's made in Game Maker right? If so that means possible spelunky goodness in linux (wine works up to a point, but it's not perfect) :D

Yeah same here at first but it takes a long time to get used to. Also it's pretty hard to do the jumping and especially 3d rpgs with lite edition :-( But on the bright side more and more apps are being ported to Linux! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

That's more of a stripped down non-violent version of Sauerbraten than an actual game creation kit.

I'm holding out for Adventure Game Studio (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/). Although I always preferred the older version to the newer one; the interface was much simpler and more concise.

I credit my move to Linux and corresponding inability to use Game Maker with the fact that I actually started to program for real, instead of just fooling around with code now and then.
