Wine hacks for EVE online

I'm suposed to hack wine, so I can play eve online with my ati card, with a help from this site: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17437 but I haven't got a single clue on how to do this, or what is that site for, total zero.
I'm also new al linux so I'm still covering basics, and now I'm trying to run eve normaly.
So any help would be nice :D

Well what is the issue you are having? Getting the ATI card working, and getting Eve working are really two different issues. Once the Card is working properly in linux, wine should use it normally. Eve doesn't need any hacking, but it does need some libraries and fonts added to it so Eve can run.

What specific issue are you having?
