I have an Acer Aspire One ZG5 and I put Ubuntu Netbook Remix on it. No problem there. But one of these days suddenly, in the middle of using the computer, my touchpad stopped working. No clue why.
Because I haven't got that many files on it, I decided to re-install NBR, no change what so ever.
At this moment I am using Eeebuntu and edited the xorg.conf so it would read my touchpad. Still, the touchpad is dead.
Any idea how to get my touchpad working again? Because I have clue...

Maybe you have accidently hit the key combination to turn it off. On my Acer Aspire, the key combo to toggle the touchpad on/off is Fn-F7.

Sorry!! I got my solution, the Fn+F7 did the trick, apparently you can enable and disable the mouse.
After hours of checking google, I got it! :)

You sir are a life saver. I don't use the touch pad any more but it's sure is nice to have it a backup.
