filezilla crashed after ubuntu update

Filezilla has stopped working after two updates were installed recently.

A few days back the sound stopped a fter updations.

What is happening.

Do i need to reinstall UBUNTU

Running Filezilla from a terminal-window.. does this shed light on the issue?
