How to remove kde-desktop

I'm on ubuntu Jaunty: some months ago I made the bad mistake to install kde-desktop which I never use. now I'm getting into troubles everytime that i upgrade the system with synaptic, because it suggests to install all upgrades, included those ones for kde.
How can I totally remove kde-desktop in the safest possible way?

i used this command(to remove kubuntu-desktop) and it worked fine, nothing bad happened to my ubuntu

I did this but got:

Package akregator is not installed, so not removed
Package amarok is not installed, so not removed
Package amarok-common is not installed, so not removed
Package apport-qt is not installed, so not removed
Package ark is not installed, so not removed
Package dolphin is not installed, so not removed
E: Couldn't find package dontzap


I ran this command before:

sudo aptitude purge kdelibs5

Then:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure gdm


Now Gnome is have various elements of kde like mouse pointers and such.

I installed KDE on Synaptic by adding kubuntu-desktop
