Simple. Which distro do you use KDE4 on? I use it on Kubuntu, but it just doesn't seem like I'm getting the full experience so I decided to ask the community to figure out which distro the majority of users use their KDE4 on.

I use Kubuntu, though I've tried mandriva and opensuse. What makes you think you're not getting the "full experience"?

It still feels unstable. Ever since I upgraded to KDE 4.3 on Kubuntu it's been feeling sluggish and crashes randomly sometimes.

personally i use arch
its absolutely awesome

yuo're right
kubuntu isn't the best kde implementation
try mandriva or pclinuxos if you want a beginner friendly distro that implements kde very well

I concur in full. Out of interest do you use KDEmod or kde in extra?

I'm running KDE(mod) on Arch Linux in case it is not clear from my sig (A)

I've seen this claim in a few places. What issues do you have with kubuntu that you don't have with other distros?

Arch + KDEmod. But I'm not overly impressed atm...

Mine is that it is barely updated.

You mean not a rolling release like arch?

I've tried it on several distros, but most recently I've used it on Arch (not kdemod) and Kubuntu Karmic alpha 6. There wasn't a significant difference between the two, although i have to say Karmic had a very nice implementation of kde. I think the distro differences are now very small compared to the days of kde 4.0 and 4.1.
