administrative network PROBLEM

I can't do any add or remove nor any updates because the administrative will not come up,but when I plug it into my friends internet then it works fine! So what should I do?

i suggest checking internet settings on your router...if no router than there are a few other options...are you using wireless?

The network manager application will show you your routers address copy that into your browser's address bar and you can modify your router.

The other way to figure out what the Bell Networking is letting through and your gateway address is System > Administration > Network Tools and click on Netstat The Gate info is the ip of your router.
