View Full Version : [ubuntu] Wireless doesn't works

September 18th, 2009, 02:19 PM
I had problems since I upgraded to jaunty. The wireless device is recognized, but I think i wouldn't start.
I installed wicd hoping it would work, but when I opened I got this massage:
"trådløs nødafbryder aktiveret" translated from danish to english "wireless emergency cutout activated"
Any ideas to solve this problem?

I have a Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG

When I type iwconfig:

lo no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

eth1 radio off ESSID:off/any
Mode:Managed Channel:0 Access Point: Not-Associated
Bit Rate:0 kb/s Tx-Power=off Sensitivity=8/0

Power Management:off
Link Quality:0 Signal level:0 Noise level:0
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

pan0 no wireless extensions.

And when I type dmesg in terminal I get this:
