Hi
I have two kernels in my system. One is Jaunty kerenl 2.6.28-generic that I downloaded from synaptic package manager, the other I build myself as custom kernel 2.6.30.7 (I removed unnecessary drivers etc.).
On 2.6.28 fglrx drivers are working properly.
In order to run new kernel I had to turn off graphical acceleration. Because otherwise the screen went black.
After new kernel booted I tried to activate the driver System->administration->hardware drivers ('Ati proprietary drivers') but without success
Is there any solution for my problem?
- Should I somehow reinstall fglrx drivers (by synaptic manager), or do something with x-server configuration?
- Or are these drivers just "not running" on this new kernel?
