Hi there,

I need to go back to Ubuntu (I really miss it! :-), and I also happen to need to replace my current machine, before it falls apart. Now, I'm doing nothing special (so won't need the fastest gaming machine), but does the following look alright? Could this work with Ubunutu 9.04?

I'd suggest going with an Nvidia graphics adapter, instead of ATI.

Thank you for your reply and suggestion.

What is your recommendation based on?
Is that because the ATI is inferior to the Nvidia, or is it that your experience tells you that ATI is less compatible with Ubuntu (i.e. Nvidia supports Linux)??
