here's a page which shows how to install user javaScript
http://userjs.org/help/installation

here's the forum
http://my.opera.com/userjs/forums/

the scripts if you are unsure about these scripts have a look at this link
http://userjs.org/scripts/

and the home page
http://userjs.org/

these scripts are very good, if you have Opera you should at least try out one of them.

as well as userjs i use bookmarklets too, i can click a button on my toolbar and go straight to the archive.org link for the page i'm on, then i can click another button called Wayback Undo which will take me back to the normal links instead of being stuck in archive.org.

i have another bookmarklet which shows all the links which point to the page i'm on, so say i'm here (http://www.ubuntuforums.org/index.php) i can see all the links which lead to it by going to
http://www.altavista.com/web/results?q=link:http://www.ubuntuforums.org/index.php
with one button click.

i also have a userjs script which shows me what a link leads to by showing a small icon when i hover on the link, so there'd be a little script icon when i hover over a userjs download.

i can also goto this (www.gap.com/) page because i can fool the site into thinking i am using Firefox on win32, i think most people will have problems getting there. i just read they might have fixed it but not old navy. i can get to here (http://www.oldnavy.com/browse/home.do) too. maybe it's all been fixed though, i'm not sure

i have a script which uses google suggest (http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=1) on all google sites not just google suggest.

i have another script which does the same thing as google suggest but on this board and all other boxes i come across.

they are just 4/5 things out of the 100s of hacks for Opera.
