installed windows xp afer kubuntu

I had both windows xp and kubuntu 9.04 installed but somwhow windows got corrupted and I had to reinstall windows but I did not touch the linux partitions
Now my systems boots winxp fine but the option for linux has gone missing from startup :(
How can i reinstall grub and enable grub for kubuntu?
I have live cd.
