How do I edit the file association (mime-type) of the gnome-search-tool?
Right now when I do a search with the gnome-search-tool, it find the correct files, but unfortunately the wrong program is associated to it.
How and where can I change the settings, so the correct program will start when I click the file I want to open?

For example, I have some text.xsl file, when I wanted to open it firefox is started..!!

Many thanks for the help

Right click on the file in nautilus window and select Properties, go to the "Open With" tab and set your requirement there.

Right click on the file in nautilus window and select Properties, go to the "Open With" tab and set your requirement there.
Unfortunately this didn't work for me!
In nautilus, the right program is already associated to the .xsl file.
I think that the gnome-search-tool is not using the mime-type settings of nautilus, and that it has it own mime-type settings file it depends on.
