As all of us Linux users know, we burn a LOT of cds/DVDs (at least compared to the average user)
I got an idea all of a sudden to use CD-RWs, so that when a new version of any distro comes out, I could just reuse the disk. Granted, they're only 12x speed, but I've used DVD+RW at 4x speed for Ubuntu Ultimate (didn't even know I got DVD-RW), and they've worked fine.
I've gone through 3 cd-rws, and not one of them had a successful burn! Am I just exerpiencing a high burn fail rate, or are CD-RW at 12x speed not good?
(the manufacturer of the cds is Memorax)
