I downloaded the mozilla-plugin-gnash package from the repos to get flash working on my hardy 64-bit install. No plugin ever appeared in firefox even after closing and opening.

I ended up finding the .deb in /var/apt/cache and extracting and installing the libgnashplugin.so file in /usr/lib/xulrunner-addons folder myself. I got it to appear in 'plugins' but I went to youtube to test it and youtube was telling me to upgrade my flash plugin.

So I've got 2 questions: 1, does this sound like a bug since essentially nothing happened when I installed the package and 2, did I install the plugin correctly and is there something I can do to get it to work. The adobe nonfree sometimes stopping working until I restart firefox, I was hoping gnash would work better.
