Hello,

I have a problem when I installed the drivers for ATI Radeon HD 3200. I downloaded the drivers from here http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/linux/Pages/radeon_linux.aspx?type=2.4.1&product=2.4.1.3.36&lang=English. I also followed the tutorial from that page. It's supposed I have all the requirements. However, when I restart ubuntu, low graphics comes up.
I've looked for the Internet, but the information is unclear.
I'm using ubuntu 9.04 with this kernel 2.6.28-15. I saw something in the tutorial and it might be related to this issue,

"Note: If a Linux 2.6.11 or newer kernel was built with
CONFIG_AGP enabled, the kernel AGP frontend is required to load
the fglrx kernel module. To identify whether your kernel was built
with CONFIG_AGP enabled, look for CONFIG_AGP=y in the
kernel config file, or if the 'agpgart' module is loaded."

It would be great, if someone could help me out.

Thanks in advance

I feel your pain, I have an Radeon 8500DV and I can't get it to work either on 9.04 but i have had better luck going with the older release 8.04 (hardy) not perfect as i still have issues but worth a try. Good Luck!!
