Hi!

I reinstalled Xubuntu on my notebook, but I can't upgrade openoffice through the usual way (http://news.softpedia.com/news/How-To-Install-OpenOffice-org-3-0-in-Ubuntu-8-10-96449.shtml). It was working two weeks ago when I installed it on a pc at work, but now no upgrades are showing for openoffice. Anyone heard about some problem with this upgrade? Is the upgrade now only available with jaunty?

Thanks!

What probably has happened is that the current version of Open Office has dependencies that Ubuntu 8.10 does not support. Just a guess, though.

That's what I fear... and I have been advised not to upgrade to Jaunty because of my old ATI card, so I guess I'll have to install it manually.
