I'm new to Ubuntu and Linux and am a bit SLOW when it comes to all things techie so forgive me if this all sounds stupid.
I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 and want to rip cds in FLAC format. All the documentation says that Sound Juicer should be in applications>multimedia and sound but its not. I've gone to synaptic and found Sound Juicer and thought i'd installed it but its still not showing under applications.
I have restarted the machine thinking this may be the problem but still nothing. Any ideas please.
