I can boot X just fine using 2.6.28-14 (so it is not my setting, but definitely kernel-X win interface), but not with 15.
I have ATI prop. driver. I get mouse pointer (circle - busy) against black screen but nothing else afterwards and system is unresponsive and I can not even drop to the character based using Ctrl-Alt-1.
Does ATI driver require special configuration upon kernel upgrade?
I do remember old days when I had an Nvidia proprietary driver where I had to boot to character based screen and run re-configure utility where it will re-compile some kernel based libraries.
Is that required by ATI driver as well?
