In my opinion, Ubuntu developers couldn't care less about bugs. Afterall, out of the numerous distros out there, they have a rep at having a horrible rep regarding bugs. They don't fix them or address them. Preferring to shrug them off, I guess.

I filled out a form online at Lauchpad and no one has responded. Not even a 'oh, that's serious, someone will look at it.' Not even a, 'that will be fixed, don't worry.'

Out of all the distros I've tried and we're talking developmental stage, Ubuntu's Karmic 9.10 is the only one NOT to work. I mean, it boots up but it crashes and freezes soon after. I've tried OpenSUSE's most recent 'beta', even Kubuntu's (which works, ironically enough) and Mandriva's most recent developmental LiveDVD, also. They all work to varying degrees but Ubuntu doesn't and is the only one to seriously crash and lock up.

There's what, a month to go? They're going to fix everything in that time? :) Om, ohhhhhhhhh-kay!
