Was sorry to hear about this, I remember when he first came to fame in the 80's in North and South (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088583/). All the ladies were swooning at Patrick in his uniform.

I love that movie...
He was a great actor, I've alway been a fan of most of his stuff (I love Red Dawn, even though I find it a bit campy now, but it is still one of my guilty pleasures)
may you rest in peace Patrick Swayze

Okay, seriously now... As a dancer myself I feel the loss of a great dancer - or anyone who has elevated the art of dance as he did - a little more deeply than most Hollywood stars. Thanks, Patrick, for all you've done to not only entertain, but to advance the arts and inspire other artists. Rest in peace!

Patrick Swayze was great at what he did. I'm grateful he did it, he was a masterful entertainer.
Here are some numbers for those that get a little freaked out about death:

He outlived the "average" for pancreatic cancer...I know...my sister died from it a few years ago. Once it is found, it is too late and you (generally) live another 6 months. There is no treatment or 'cure'.
All I can say is F***ING CANCER! I hate it!
I know his unbearable pain and suffering is over. We'll miss him.

Point Break
Yeah that was a pretty awesome movie. Roadhouse wasn't bad either. The blind guitarist in Roadhouse died earlier this year also. Don't remember his name however.
