I've been looking around lately, and have found some pretty cool looking music tools and visuals. What I'd really like to find is a skin for a music player that has a couple speakers and a subwoofer that pumps with the bass. Anybody know if this is out there already? Also, can anyone recommend some wicked visualizations? I use xbox media center on my xbox, and it has some really awesome visuals, and I think they are for mplayer, so I can find those easily enough i think.
I'd like to use noatun a lot more but I can't get it to play anything but ogg and flac etc. I used to use it for everything on gentoo but can't get it goin on ubuntu. It looks like aRTs needs some special plug-in to interface with your codecs or something. It seems that some people just have it working and some don't. Can anyone point me to noatun media-plugins somewhere, or whatever else is needed?
