I'm trying to make a document, it's basically a form which people will fill in by hand. So, I have tables with, say twenty squares for the name.
Basically, 20 columns, 1 row. It covers half the page.
How can I insert another table on the same line?
Failing that, how can I make one 45 column table and remove the borders from the cells in the centre to make it appear as two?

It would be much easier if you use OpenOffice Calc instead of Writer.
I can't picture out what you've created.

Ah, good idea.

Thanks.

Edit: Very much easier actually. I can even drag things around to fit the page.

Can't imagine? Imagine an application form, you have to write your name, address, phone number etc. in a row of boxes, one character per box. checkboxes for male/female. That's the sort of thing.

just a minute...
See this:

tables on both sides. That's the kind of thing. I couldn't figure out how to get seperate tables on the same line without resorting to columns, which brought its own set of problems.

Spreadsheed works just fine. Thanks again. :D
