Is it possible to use a web application in an offline computer?. I have been using reconstructor v2.9 to create custom versions of Ubuntu . But the v2.9 has a serious bug (when customising kde4.3 in jaunty) which deletes each and every data in the root partition. So I decided to upgrade it to version 3 . But the version 3 is a web application. After building custom cd, certainly, 1 gb will be needed to transfer over the internet. It is not possible without a broad band connection. Is it possible to download the html and use it as an application ? Thanks

You can install a webserver (apache) on your own computer and thus being able to use the site when you have no internet connection.

You need the full source of the website though.
