I changed my default screen resolution from 1280x800 to 1024x768 as this is the way i like it but when ever I restart the pc it reverts back to the 1280x800setting except that it doesnt properly stretch out the creen theres a big gap on the right hand side where it hasnt sorted out the screen resolution properly, the start menu bar covers about 3/4 of the bottom screen but theres just a 1/4 of the screen gap same with the widgets, But when i go back in to system settings to change the resolution back the pc just picks up on it and the screen flickers and automatically goes back to 1024x768.
Any ideas why it does this and why it does it everytime i restart the pc.
