run ubuntu on symbian

hia guys just wondering if anyone knows if theres an app or project similar to dosbox except to emulate unix?

I would love to be able to run ubuntu or even just run a few bash scripts on my n97 but iv not seen or heard of anyway of doing it yet.

Do you think its possable?

You can run windows 95 /98 but not Ubuntu as far as i know.

i fell asleep after making this post last night and only just remembered about it :lolflag:

thanks for the reply guys, yep iv had windows running on it but i was hoping there might have been a project or a way to get linux onto it, cygwin has just given me an idea though, im gonna try and copy the full cygwin folder over from windows onto the phone and see if dosbox can start up the cygwin.bat file, an emulator in an emulator ;) i doubt it though but fingers crossed :confused: here goes :)

it says it cant be run in dos mode i think ill search around a bit more though an see if i find anything about running cygwin in dosbox
