I had been using windows 7 for a while, until last week, when my plug and play drivers somehow caused my computer to shut off at random times. Then I couldn't start up at all. Installed Jaunty on here and it runs perfectly with compiz fully enabled. I forgot how easy Ubuntu is to use, and that I could get pretty much any app I wanted from Synaptic with no problems. Flash was running kind of weird, but then I found out that the firefox SWF package was blocking flash 10, so now pretty much everything runs smoothly. Good to be back!
