I am trying to upgrade 9.0.4 on a Thinkpad T42 and get the following error.

E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.

How do I proceeed? Thanks

Hi kocis.

Just type your password and hit enter.

You won't see the password as you type. It's for security.

Thanks. It worked. It says I have a broken package though.

Thanks. It worked. It says I have a broken package though.

Click system> administration> synaptic package manager.

Enter password.

In the left side, click broken packages.

It should give you an option to fix broken packages.
