Dear Ubuntu-Community,
After testing Kubuntu 9.04 with Virtual Box, I decided to set up a real Kubuntu on my new System (AMD Phenom X3, Ati Radeon 4850, 4Gb Ram, 1TB HD,.. ). So far so good, the Installation was no problem. But my Kubuntu fails while booting:
When Kubuntu shows me the Screen starting with
'Starting K Display Manager: kdm [OK]'
there are another lines ending with [OK], but when it reaches line
'/dev/sdha:
setting Advanced Power Management level to 0xfe(254) [OK]'
nothing else happens.
Anyone knows what to do?
Btw: My Windows Xp I installed before works fine.
