this tool, new in Snow Leopard, now is done by Apple ( Apache2 licence) to built multithreading apps. That lib let the system dealing with threads.

My local auto mechanic has this nifty tool... a torque wrench... that allows him to tighten bolts with a high degree of precision. Now that is interesting!
