I recently installed Xubuntu 8.04 on an EEE 2G. I can access the internet with the wired LAN but I cannot find any wireless option.
I used: Applications > System > Network > Connections Tab ...
and see only: Wired Connection and Point to Point.
Proprietary drivers (Atheros access layer (HAL) and support for Atheros 802.11 wireless LAN cards)were turned off, didn't help; turned back on, no help. All updates are installed.
Am I missing something obvious?
The Wireless worked properly under WinXP so I'm discounting a hardware failure.
