Would it be possible to have FreeBasic (www.freebasic.net) and FBide (www.fbide.freebasic.net) added to the Ubuntu Universe repository?

This is not really the place to ask. Developers don't really hang out on the forum. If you want to know, ask a MOTU:

Just don't be too disappointed if they say no, and know that such won't happen until Dapper is released even if they say yes.
