how can I make ubuntu recognize the built-in camera?

Hello Forum..

Yesterday I bought a new laptop that had Vista on it and of course I formated it and installed jaunty...The laptop has a nice touch that I couldn't figure out how to make it work on ubuntu. I am talking about the buit-in camera that is not recognized...Is there any way to make the camera work??

Hi, there are plenty of resources available.. Knowing the make and model would be of help !!!

It's easy to pop the following into Google, though ...

laptop built in camera ubuntu +9.04 MAKE MODEL

Obviously, replace MAKE and MODEL with what your laptop is.
