Hello yesterday i have installed Ubuntu 9.04 on my pc with where windows xp sp3 was installed before with wubi-installer.

My system specs

Processor 2.8 GHz
Ram 756 MB
Hard 1 320GB (SATA) Seagate
HArd 2 40GB (IDE) Seaagate
Grafix Navida GForce 5200 FX

I have installed ubuntu on windows xp and it i installed it on H: drive with 8gb space assigned to it all went ok for the installation but when ubuntu started my right mouse click is not working on desktop and in places i opened home/comuper/documents/etc noting is working just a window came in taskbar and says like "opening computer...."
i have configured my dsl on ubuntu and it is working fine.
one more question can i install ubuntu on my 40gb hard and then read from there my NTFS partitions of second SATA hard

The 'right' click in Ubuntu has a different affect than in windows - Not too sure what you're expecting / wanting.

And, yes, you can install ubuntu onto your disk & have it see the other disk.

An excellent bible of Ubuntu is available here http://ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu:Jaunty

You aren't expected to read and memorise it - It's a handy bookmark to look up something. There are also some excellent Wiki's and tutorials available on these forums.

A welcome Guide is available here http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1052065

And a whole area for newcomers can be found here.

Welcome to Ubuntu.

I didn't use wubuntu for my dual booting system, so I don't know much about it.

Try popping the question into

Sorry that I do not understand what your problem is, The guide as the second part of my previous reply should have helped.

If you could explain what you mean by 'places not opening' - I'll try and understand & help you.

Phill.
