Hi,

I am looking for a decent file manager. I have tried nautilus, thinar, xfe, dolphin, rox, pacman, and probably more. i am disappointed in all of them, because none of them seem to be able to do this simple operation:

Move (or even copy) a directory and allow me to only overwrite newer files. That's it! Nautilus doesn't do that. The one that comes the closes is rox-filer, but the Quiet and Newer options don't seem to work. It still asks me to confirm every time there is a duplicate file or directory in the target directory. I gave up because I got tired of clicking so often.

Dolphin is OK, but it lacks the "Overwrite newer files only" option.

Does anyone have a better option?

Thanks,

L

None can do that :)
You should use rsync for that :P
