Temperatures

So, I stayed home sick today and was bored, so I decided to take my temperature. 100.4, I'd say that justifies my absence today. But then, I took the temperature of my feet. 69.1 degrees F. Dear god. Maybe that has something to do with me being 5'9" and wearing an 11.5 shoe, but wow. Is that even healthy o.O?

Kind of random, but I thought it would be worth mentioning.

Brain is a big powerful biological engine and produces masses of heat.

plus its a big solid object that means the head remains close to the core temperature

The feet are extremities and have large surface area to volume so will cool far more easily than the head...

But still lol. My fingers are about 85 degrees F.

Rectal temperature is generally considered the most accurate :p

but more fun would be to create a spreadsheet and try to fit a trendline :D

Yeah it's pretty normal. Whenever I read in bed, under the covers, the rest of my body will be hot but my toes will be freezing o.o
