View Full Version : [SOLVED] ATI HD48XX, Ubuntu and fglrx drivers it is possible?

Hello, it is just a question. Some body here have an ATI RV7XX GPU with proprietary drivers (fglrx) up and running on any Ubuntu flavor? (full 3D acceleration)

If yes, please, can you do two things?

First: Tell me about your hardware, GPU, Monitor (screen), motherboard chip set.
Second: Tell me how you got to work?

Any answer is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

New montitor, problem solved. Yes it is weird, but it was the problem.

what drivers did you install for that monitor??

im currently trying to get my acer AL2216W monitor to register with the OS i can't change the resolution or anything.

the video card is an ATI 3D mach 64

Any help would be nice
