hello,
i just installed the desktop edition of ubuntu 8.10 from a cd on my macbook. the installation procedure went smoothly, but when i restart my laptop i first hear the typical mac startup sound and then nothing but a blank screen. after some time an icon appears with a question mark in the middle of it.
i would be very greatful if someone could give me a hint.
