hi there,
I installed ubuntu server 64-bit and later added gnome. All working fine but...
1. I need to install my eth2 as a dhcp server for the home network: can that be done from within gnome? Maybe using some admin packages or so?
2. I want to monitor, open and close some ports. How can that be done?
I prefer using gnome on that server because it is on my desk too and I'm studying java and such... I know it opens some security issues, that's why I want to monitor the ports.
Thanks for your help!
