hello, i have a little problem. i just purchased a new 500G sata drive, and i want to move my linux partition to it. I tried DD and it ran all night said it completed but there was nothing there on the new drive, but it show 421G out of 500G used. Now my linux partition is only 167G and only 37G used.
Any ideas, i have tried this 3 times and keep getting the same results.
I have created a partition the same size on the new drive as on the old drive and marked it as boot.
