anyway, ang alam ku ay mayruong linux desktop din sa pinas at yun yata yung "bayanihan" ba yun? under ng DOST?

peru sa pag kakaalam ku ay nag bebenta na sila ng desktop with their distro at nasa list na rin kung saang shop na nabibili, isa na pu dun yata ang octagon.

correct me if im wrong.

why not build you own Ubuntu Desktop, it's cheaper :)

Im using a Dell Laptop with Ubuntu (it used to be XP, i killed it :D )

Most laptops in gilmore is enforcing a Linux os if the laptop has no OS instead of installing a trialXP. Also Neo so i heard.

Splashtop and Express gate also comes with new laptops, which you have the option to boot to linux for 3-5 seconds during POST for a quick look on the net instead of waiting for minutes for Vista to load and consume battery life.
