I have been trying to make a multi boot dvd....
Before saying anything, i am new to linux, i have been using ubuntu, but because of its ease of use with its graphical interface... :)
I wanted to make a multiboot dvd with windows xp, windows 7 and ubuntu..
I was able to find out about making a multi boot dvd with various windows versions(magic iso's help pages) and with various linux versions seperately...
(couldnt understand much about multi booting various linux ... )
from what i read in help about windows i had to do some hex editing and all, but since the folders of xp disk, windows 7 disk and ubuntu disk are seperate i didnt have to do anything... just copied the contents of all the disks, extracted their boot info.
Using magic iso i made an image adding the boot info i extracted and all those folders and burned it...
I was able to boot from it, xp and win7 worked fine but when i chose the ubuntu option isolinux loaded and then displayed checksum error.. and then wont go any furthur.....
Is there a way to get around this error.....
Also could we use grub to load a live linux distro.... if we can how do we do that...

Thanks in advance.. :)

You can also check out http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=8147658&postcount=12 (or my sig) for a multiboot live DVD which includes Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu, MythBuntu, etc. It can also be used to load various Windows versions; and it uses (a different kind of) GRUB.
