Is it possible to force WUBI to do a partial install?

I've been running Ubuntu via WUBI for a while, and somehow I managed to break it. All of the installation files and boot files are still alright. However, the file containing the main file system for Ubuntu has disappeared. Is there any way to force WUBI to recreate ONLY that file? I don't have high-speed internet anymore so downloading a new ISO is out of the question. Even if I was able to get an ISO, I really don't want to mess with the bootloader right now as I don't have the resources to fix my computer if something goes wrong. I've tried running chkdsk on the drive from windows, but it wasn't able to repair the damage.

Ubuntu will try to boot, but then it complains that it can't mount the filesystem and drops me to a prompt.

To summarize:
Due to a hard reboot, I've managed to lose the file that holds the Ubuntu filesystem. Is there any way to re-create it using WUBI?

Any alternative solutions would be appreciated.
