Lo all,

does anyone use any linux hardware firewalls?

I've got an old p3-700 odd with smoothwall 3.0 on that works very well

If yes, what have you all got? Let's have some pictures!

Maybe we could have a poll?

I use Firestarter and it works great. In any case all ports are closed by default but its better to have a firewall up just in case...

Many moons ago I used iptables.

I set it up to block all incoming/outgoing first and I then setup additional outgoing rules that allowed whatever I needed at the time.

The last time I checked firestarter made configuring iptables easy and that its the most widely used Linux FW of today.
